Overview

For 2006, the GMC Envoy has been carried over with only minor changes. It is available in short and long wheelbase (XL) and comes in 2WD, 4WD, or AWD (Denali). Available trims include SLE, SLT, and Denali. Changes to the Envoy for this year include standard Stabilitrak vehicle stability control, Displacement on Demand on Vortec V8 models, new 18-inch wheels on Denali and Denali XL, new push/pull window switch functionality, and a single XM/OnStar antenna. New exterior colors for 2006 include Cranberry Red Metallic and Red Jewel Tintcoat. The Envoy receives additional freshening through the use of updated badging, new chrome grille accents, and new bodyside molding. Low drag brakes are also standard on all models for 2006.
