Overview
Volvo simplifies its S80 model line-up by deleting the T6 trims, leaving the 2.5T and 2.5T AWD to stand alone. Volvo's flagship enters 2006 with more standard amenities, including leather seating, power glass moonroof, real wood trim, sport seats, and 17-inch premium alloy wheels. The S80 AWD also receives a new all-wheel drive system with Instant Traction and Haldex technology. The optional Convenience Package features HomeLink, rear parking assist, extra storage, and an auto-dimming rear view mirror. A Climate Package can also be selected, offering heated seats, headlight washers, and rainsensor wipers. Other extra cost options include metallic paint, satellite radio, a DVD-based navigation system, an air quality system, and bi-xenon HID headlights.
