Overview

For 2006, the Pontiac Vibe is carried over from the previous year and is available in Base, GT and AWD configurations. All Vibes have an available Moon and Tunes Package, which comes with a sunroof and an upgraded sound system. The GT upgrades the Base with leather-wrapped steering wheel, tire pressure monitoring system, a 170-hp engine, a six-speed manual transmission, ABS brakes, and 16-inch wheels. The AWD model comes standard with a 123-hp engine and a four-speed automatic (with standard programmable power door locks). The anti-lock braking system in the AWD is front disc/rear drum and while the 16-inch wheels are standard, the wheel rim is steel with bolt-on covers.
