Overview
For 2006, the Pontiac Grand Prix has been carried over from the previous year and is available in three models--Base, GT, and GXP. Base models feature a 3.8L engine with 200hp. In 2005, the GXP was introduced with a 5.3L V8 that produces 303hp (the GTP trim version is now available on the Pontiac G6). The top-of-the-line GXP comes with dual exhaust outlets, a rear spoiler, TAP-shift automatic transmission, performance brakes, and Magnasteer variable assist steering. It also features a wider front to rear track design for increased performance and handling, head-up display, custom grille, and power sunroof.
