Overview

The SSR returns for 2006 with no new changes. Chevrolet has designed the SSR as a combination sport roadster and pickup truck. This retro looking pickup truck features a retractable hardtop, a lockable pickup box, and 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels. The SSR is equipped with a 6.0L Vortec V-8 engine producing 390 horsepower. Standard luxury amenities include leather bucket seats, heated outside mirrors, a six-way power driver seat, and other power features. Mechanically, the SSR boasts standard four-wheel ABS, traction control, sport suspension, and a limited slip differential. The upgraded 1SB package includes a Bose sound system with six-disc CD changer, Homelink, heated seats, and an auto day/night mirror.
