Overview

Introduced last year as a replacement model for the Cavalier, the 2006 Cobalt returns with a few changes and the addition of the LTZ trim line. The cobalt trim line includes five trims: LS, LT, LTZ, SS and SS Supercharge. New for 2006 is the PASS-Key III theft deterrent system and a Performance Package, available on the SS Supercharge model. The Performance Package includes leather-accented front bucket seats and limited-slip differential. Standard equipment on all models includes an AM/FM stereo with CD player, a tilt adjustable steering column, and air conditioning with air filtration system. Available options on the Cobalt include the OnStar system, XM Satellite Radio, power sunroof and a MP3 radio. The exterior paint color Blue Metallic will now be replaced by Laser Blue.
