Overview
For 2006, the Escalade is available in two trims, 2WD and AWD. Carried over with few changes for this year, the Escalade comes with such standard amenities as a Bose sound system with rear audio controls, an On-Star Directions and Connections Plan, rear heated seats, power adjustable pedals, and an optional entertainment system. The vehicle also comes with a stability enhancement system and road-sensing suspension for greater safety and ride comfort. The ultrasonic rear parking assist has three lights that let the driver know how close they are getting to an object. It features a view range of about 10-inches off the ground to just below the rear window and five feet out from the vehicle. The Escalade is a sister car to the Yukon and Tahoe.
