Overview

For 2006, Hummer offers up the brand new H3. Built on the Chevrolet Colorado platform, the H3 is 16.8 inches shorter in length, 4.8 inches shorter in height, and 6.5 shorter in width compared to the H2. The powertrain consist of a Vortec 3.5L inline-five cylinder engine mated to a choice of five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. The engine is rated at 220 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque. The H3 employs an electronically controlled full-time 4WD system with traction control, and StabiliTrak vehicle stability system. The optional adventure Package adds an Off-Road Suspension Package, a fully locking electronic rear differential, 4.03: 1 two-speed transfer case, and 33-inch on-road/off-road tires.
