Overview
The Taurus enters 2006 again available in four models: SE and SEL Sedan, with the SE and SEL Wagons coming later on in the year. All models feature a 3.0L V-6 engine that produces 155 horsepower and 185 ft-lbs of torque. Standard equipment on the Taurus includes a four-speed automatic transmission, keyless entry remote system, front and rear mudguards, and power convenience features. The optional Safety and Security Package features traction control, anti-lock brakes, and front side impact airbags. The SEL Premium Package includes a six-disc CD changer with AM/FM cassette stereo, electronic climate control, leather seating surfaces, rear spoiler (sedan), power adjustable passenger seat, and automatic headlamps.
