Overview

Pontiac brings back the G6 for 2006 available in four trim levels: Base (with 1SV or 1SA packages), V6, GT, and the new GTP. All trims are offered in sedan configuration, while coupe and convertible models are only available in GT and GTP trims. Standard equipment on all models includes power convenience features, cruise control, a theft deterrent alarm system, and daytime running lights. The sportier GTP trim receives several upgrades including a larger 3.9L V6 engine, 18-inch painted aluminum wheels, an XM satellite radio, dual chrome exhaust tips, and a rear spoiler. Options on the G6 include side air bags, leather seats, power-adjustable pedals, and panoramic roof. The optional Premium Value Package 2 adds premium wheels, a power sunroof, and a six-disc CD changer.
