Overview

The Accord Coupe returns for 2005 with minimal changes. There are only two trims available on the Accord coupe: LX and EX in four-cylinder or V6 engine configurations. Side curtain and front side airbags are now standard on all models. The LX receives a new wheel cover design while the EX gets a new alloy wheel design. The 2.4L i-VTEC four-cylinder engine produces 160 hp and 161 lbs.-ft of torque while the 3.0L VTEC V6 is capable of producing 240 hp and 212 lbs.-ft of torque. Both engines are available in a low emissions output format (PZEV and ULEV) in California and some parts of the Northeast. A navigation system is available on the EX models with leather interior. An EX Special Edition model is also available.
