Overview
For 2006, the Solara is available in four trims models: coupe bodystyle in SE, SE V6, SE Sport and SLE V6, and convertibles in SE and SLE V6. A manual transmission is available on the SE and SE Sport four-cylinder models only. Part of the Camry line, all Solara's feature fog lights, a telescoping steering wheel, a tire pressure monitoring system, cruise control, and a passenger airbag monitor as standard. The Sport trim has a sport-tuned suspension, black graphite interior trim with chrome accents, a unique sport instrument cluster, and a body kit with rear spoiler. The top of the line SLE adds standard outside heated mirrors, woodgrain interior trim, and heated leather seats. Traction control and a theft-deterrent system are also standard on the SLE.
