Overview

The 2006 Jaguar XK-Series returns after being redesigned for 2005. The XK is available in four models: XK8 and XKR in coupe and convertible body styles. XK8 models are powered by a new 4.2L V8, 300 hp, all aluminum engine, while the XKR models feature a supercharged version of the same engine producing 400 hp. Both engines are coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission. New standard equipment includes Bluetooth wireless technology, power folding side mirrors, headlamp power washers, a heated front windscreen with automatic rain sensor, and heated and powered adjustable front seats with memory settings. Exclusive to the XKR coupe are features such as cross-drilled Brembo brakes, revised CATS damper settings, and re-tuned power steering.
