Overview

All-new in 2005, the Dodge Magnum returns with the addition of the SRT8 model. The 2006 Magnum is now available in five trim lines: SE, SXT, SXT AWD, RT, and the SRT8 models. The Magnum SE comes with RWD system, a 2.7L V6 engine paired to a four-speed automatic transmission, and 17-inch wheels. The SXT is equipped with a 3.5L V6 engine paired to a four-speed automatic transmission, while the SXT AWD features a five-speed automatic transmission. The Magnum RT boasts a 5.7L HEMI V8 engine producing 340 horsepower and featuring a Multi-Displacement System, which increases the HEMI engine's fuel efficiency. For the SRT8, Dodge has taken the 5.7L Hemi engine and increased the displacement to 6.1L. The 6.1L Hemi engine produces 425 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque.
