Overview

BMW's 7-Series sedan enters 2006 with two new V8 models. The 7-Series is now available in four models: 750I, 750Li, 760i, and 760Li. Exterior trims, such as grille, lighting cluster, and bumpers, have been slightly updated. The new 4.8L V8 engine found on the 750's generates 360 hp and 360 lb-ft of torque. The 7-Series offers several option packages, including the Sport Package, which features sport suspension, 19-inch alloy wheels, sport seats, a sport steering wheel, and unique interior and exterior trim. The optional Cold Weather package adds a heated steering wheel, a ski bag, heated front and rear seats. Other available options include rear climate control, rear impact air bags, a satellite radio, comfort seats, and active cruise control.
