Overview
The 2005 Grand Prix is available in four models: base, GT, GTP, and GXP sedans. Standard on all models is the next generation Wide Track Handling System, an all-new braking system, and an electronic throttle control system. Also standard on all models are rear doors that swing open almost 90 degrees, allowing for easier entering and exiting as well as loading bulky items. The GTP model is available with a Competition Group that includes a performance tuned suspension system, TAPshift control of the transmission, the Comfort & InfoTech Package, and StabiliTrak traction control system. A six speaker ETR AM/FM stereo with CD player, Keyless remote entry, theft deterrent alarm system, dual-stage airbags, and front seat safety belt pretensioners are also standard.
