Overview
The Honda Insight coupe returns as a carry over model for 2005. The Insight can boast the best fuel economy in the United States with its 1.0L three-cylinder gas/electric engine, 60 city and 66 highway with the standard manual transmission. The optional CVT automatic transmission does lower the fuel economy slightly, but it remains popular with consumers. The Insight can only seat two occupants and can be called a limited production model with only 575 models sold for the 2004 model year. The standard stereo system includes a CD player and four speakers. Automatic Climate Control can be added as an option.
