Overview
For 2005, the Mitsubishi Montero is available in a single trim line, the Limited. Standard equipment on the Montero includes a five-speed Sportronic transmission with adaptive shift control (using special software, the transmission 'learns' your driving patterns and varies the shift points to accommodate them) with clutchless manual shift mode. This is mated with a 3.8L V-6 engine that produces 215-hp and 248 lb-ft of torque. Other features include rear air conditioning, power sunroof, heated and folding power side mirrors, leather seats, and woodgrain interior trim. The Montero has a number of accessories available such as a bike carrier and grille guard. A rear entertainment system package with wireless headphones is the only factory option.
