Overview
The GX 470 returns for this model year with minimal changes. New for 2005, the GX 470's engine gains more power and a new Sport Package is introduced. The GX 470 features full-time 4WD with center differential and is powered by a 4.7L V-8 engine that now produces 270 hp and 330 lb-ft. The GX 470 is also equipped with Downhill Assist Control, Adaptive Height Control, a self-leveling suspension, Traction Control (TRAC) and Vehicle Skid Control (VSC). The new Sport Package contains a Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS), smoked front and rear light covers, 17-inch dark graphite alloy wheels, roof rack and Black Bird's Eye maple wood trim. The optional Lexus navigation system is now integrated with Blue Tooth technology.
