Overview
The Pathfinder returns for this year on a new larger platform based off of the Nissan Titan. The larger platform adds third row seating, which provides seating for seven. For 2005, a new 4.0L V6 engine is paired to an automatic transmission. Also new is a boxed all-steel frame for additional safety. Additional safety equipment includes anti-lock disc brakes, auto-on headlights, and side impact airbags. Standard features on all models include a keyless entry remote system, an alarm, heated exterior mirrors, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and aluminum alloy wheels. Available options include a DVD entertainment system, exterior body moldings, a cargo try, and both Sirius and XM radio equipment.
