Overview
Ford totally redesigns the Mustang for 2005. Available in coupe or convertible bodystyles, the all-new Mustang is offered in four trims: Deluxe, Premium, GT Deluxe, and GT Premium. The standard engine has been replaced with a more powerful 210-hp 4.0L V6, while the GT receives a new 4.6L V8 boasting 300 horsepower. Other revisions to the Mustang include a six-inch extended wheelbase, an improved performance suspension, and increased interior room. The Deluxe trim level includes keyless remote entry, a CD player, and painted cast aluminum wheels. The Premium trim equips the Mustang with a six-disc CD changer, leather seats, and machined aluminum wheels. Options include custom-color instrument panels, side impact air bags, and an Active-Theft System.
