Overview

For 2005, the S60 sedans return after a major redesign since it's launch in 2000. The S60 line-up includes the 2.4, 2.5T AWD, 2.5T FWD, T5 and the R AWD. Exterior upgrades include body-color side moldings, new headlamps and tail lamps, and 18-inch alloy wheels. Changes to the T5 include an increase in horsepower, to 260hp, and a new a six-speed manual transmission that is found on the R. The R features a 2.5L Turbo engine with 300hp. Other R trim additions include bi-xenon headlights, a Four-C Chassis, soft leather sport bucket seats, a rear spoiler, and variable assist power steering. Packages available for the S60 include the Climate Package, Premium Package, Sport Package, and Touring Package. Bi-xenon headlights are now available optionally.
