Overview
Revised last year, the RAV4 returns for 2005 with as a carryover model. It is again available in 2WD or 4WD configurations, and in manual or automatic transmission choices. A 161-hp 2.4L inline-four cylinder engine powers this compact SUV. As with all 2005 Toyotas, the RAV4 come standard with the Star Safety System, which includes Vehicle Stability Control, traction control, and ABS brakes with Electronic Brake-force Distribution and Brake Assist. For this year, the optional Sport Package adds a metal front grille, silver sport pedals, and available fog lamps. Options include sport fabric seats, upgraded wheels, roof rack attachments, and leather interior trim.
