Overview

The RSX returns for 2005 with no major changes. It is again available in two trims, Base and Type-S. The base can be equipped with either a five-speed manual transmission or a five-speed automatic transmission with sequential sport shift. Leather seats may also be added. Additional standard equipment includes sport seats, metallic sport gauges, a power moonroof, automatic climate control, a keyless entry remote system, and alloy wheels. The Type-S receives engine and exhaust modifications that increase the 2.0L engines horsepower from 200 to 210. Other features on the Type-S include a six-speed manual transmission, perforated leather seats, and an Acura/Bose Music System with a stereo cassette and a six-disc CD changer.
