Overview
For 2005, the Mitsubishi Outlander is available in eight models - LS 2WD with manual and automatic transmissions, XLS and Limited 2WD with automatic transmission, and LS, XLS and Limited AWD. After May 2005 the manual transmission models will no longer be available. The Outlander platform is based on the Lancer, and all models feature a 2.4L 160-hp engine. Standard on all Outlander models are dual power mirrors, air conditioning, auto headlamp control and tilt steering. The XLS upgrades the LS with such features as fender flares, keyless entry, and 17-inch wheels. The top-of-the-line Limited adds heated mirrors, moonroof, and leather heated seats. Optional on the XLS is a Sun and Sound Package with moonroof and Infinity Sound System.
