Overview
The Range Rover returns for 2005 basically unchanged after being redesigned for 2003. Key features include an all-independent suspension, a torque-sensing center differential, and four-wheel traction control. The Range Rover is powered by a BMW-designed 4.4L V8, which produces 282 hp and 325 lbs.-ft. of torque. This engine is coupled to a five-speed automatic transmission with Command Shift, which allows for manual shifting. Standard equipment includes 19-inch alloy wheels, Park Distance Control, a six-disc CD changer, and all leather seats. Revisions for 2005 include an electronic system that uses fiber optics for the DVD navigation, 710 watts audio system, and the telecommunications with Blue Tooth technology.
