Overview
Returning for its third year in production, the Pilot receives several key changes for 2005. A new 255-hp V6 engine, featuring Drive by Wire Throttle technology, now comes standard on all Pilot models. Other revisions include a new steering wheel design, revised gear ratios, an enhanced steering system, and an improved fuel tank. LX models now come equipped with standard keyless entry for 2005. The EX-L trim adds the Vehicles Stability Assist system, as well as an new ambient light and six-disc CD changer. Three new exterior colors are also new for this year: Desert Rock, Steel Blue, and Billet Silver. Options on the Pilot include a DVD entertainment system, and a satellite-linked navigation system.
