Overview
The CR-V enters 2005 with several key changes. Exterior styling has improved with a redesigned front bumper, grille, and headlights. Other revisions include an integrated keyless remote entry, larger seatback pockets, and stock 16-inch wheels. New standard equipment has been added to the CR-V as well, including ABS brakes, side impact airbags, and a five-speed automatic transmission. The Special Edition model is introduced for 2005, adding body-colored exterior trim, a hard spare tire cover, heated seats, and leather interior appointments. Steering wheel mounted audio controls and an outside temperature gauge have been added to the EX list of standard amenities. Three new exterior colors are also new for this year: Silver Moss, Redondo Red, and Sahara Sand.
