Overview
The Mercedes-Benz G-Class enters 2005 available in two models, G500 and the limited edition G55 AMG. Late in the model year, Grand Edition trims also became available. The G55 AMG, which will be available late in the model year, now sports a more powerful supercharged V8 engine that boasts 469 horsepower and 506 lb-ft of torque. Standard luxury amenities on both models include dual-zone automatic air conditioning, a power sunroof, the TeleAid communication system, heated leather seats, and a Harman Kardon sound system with a six-disc CD changer. Available options include voice activated mobile phone, navigation CD collection, and a designo Silver Edition Package. This optional designo package adds Nappa leather seats, maple wood interior trim, and unique floor mats.
