Overview
The Grand Cherokee enters 2005 totally redesigned. Jeep's mid-size SUV is again available in 2WD or 4WD and in several trim levels: Laredo, Special Edition, Freedom, Limited, and Overland. Mechanical improvements for this year include a new front suspension, standard electronic stability control, and the available more powerful 330-hp 5.7L HEMI V8. Other revisions to the Grand Cherokee include more passenger room and the addition of several unique features, including GPS navigation, Park Sense auto-dimming headlights, hands-free UConnect communication system, and Quadra-Drive active 4WD. Other available features include power adjustable pedals, side impact air bags, trailer towing equipment, heated seats, and a six-disc CD changer.
