Overview

The 2005 ION sedan is once again available in three trimlines: ION 1, ION 2, and the ION 3 in manual and automatic transmission versions. All models feature a 2.2L Inline 140-hp engine. Optional equipment includes four-wheel anti-lock brakes with traction control and an AM/FM stereo with CD and MP3 player. Enhanced safety features include dual front airbags, optional side head curtain protection, child door locks, and the LATCH child safety restraint system. Available OnStar communication services include stolen vehicle tracking, roadside assistance, and convenience and concierge services. A power glass sunroof and a six-disc in-dash CD changer are also available on ION 2 and 3 models.
