Overview
The Sorento returns for its third year with no major changes. The Sorento is available in two trim levels, LX and EX. Available in both 2WD and 4WD configurations, the Sorento is powered by a 3.5 192-hp V-6 coupled to a four-speed automatic transmission or a new manual transmission. The LX includes air conditioning, cruise control and power windows, door locks, and mirrors. The EX trim offers alloy wheels, two-tone body cladding, a power sunroof, power driver's seat, Homelink programmable remote system, and an overhead console with multi-meter. For added safety, the Sorento features rear side-curtain airbags. An EX Luxury Package is also available adding Torque-On-Demand four-wheel drive, leather trim, automatic climate control, and a 280-watt in-dash 6-disc CD player.
