Overview
All new for 2005, the Ford Freestyle is available in eight models--SE, SEL and Limited in 2WD and AWD, all with a standard 3.0L V6 and CVT (Continuously Variable) transmission. Ford is marketing the Freestyle as a crossover vehicle that has many of the features and handling characteristics of a passenger car, while having the look and capabilities of an SUV. Standard features include fold down 1st row and fold flat 2nd and 3rd row seats, a roof rack with tie downs, flared wheel arches with 17" wheels (18" wheels are available on the Limited), and rear privacy glass. Select options include an Entertainment System and a 3-Row Safety Canopy (TM) with rollover sensor for all three rows of seats. The Limited 2WD model is late availability.
