Overview

For 2005, Mitsubishi's subcompact convertible returns with no major changes. The Eclipse Spyder is again available in three trim levels: GS, GT, and GTS. The optional REMIX Edition Package is also offered, which includes sporty leather seats, a six-disc CD changer, premium alloy wheels, color-keyed outside mirrors, and REMIX-badged floor mats and exterior emblems. Engine choices for the Eclipse Spyder include the 2.4L in-line four or the 3.0L V-6 producing 210 horsepower and 205 lb-ft of torque. Transmission choices include a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic. Standard equipment includes air conditioning, keyless entry remote, cruise control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, alloy wheels, and an Infinity sound system.
