Overview
The 2005 Liberty returns for the model year with a few minor changes. The exterior has been updated with new front fascia, grille, fog lights, fender flares, and body side moldings. The Liberty is available in three trim levels: Sport, Limited, and Renegade. All models are available in either 2WD or 4WD. The Sport model features a 2.4L four-cylinder engine and an optional 3.7L V-6, which is standard on Renegade and Limited models. Optional features available on all models include a Trailer Tow Group, a power sunroof, the Security Group, and a premium Infinity speaker system. Limited models can be ordered with the chrome clad aluminum wheels and upgraded tires. A new 2.8L common rail diesel engine will be offered on the Sport and Limited models later in the year.
