For 2005, Ford's pick-up truck returns with only minor changes. Newly designed wheels have been made available, as well as added features to the option packages. The Ranger is available in regular and SuperCab bodystyles, and is several trim levels: XL, SXT, XLT, EDGE, FX4, and FX4 Level II. 2WD and 4WD configurations are also offered. Engine choices include a 2.3L I-4, a 148-hp 3.0L V-6, or a 4.0L V-6 producing 207 horsepower and 238 lb-ft of torque. Transmission choices include a standard five-speed manual or optional four-speed automatic. Options on the Ranger include upgraded towing packages, a limited slip differential, privacy glass, a power equipment group, leather-trimmed seats, and a bedliner.
