Overview
The 2005 Toyota Camry returns this year with a few upgrades to its interior and exterior. The Camry is available in four trim levels: STD, LE, SE, and XLE. Enhancements made to the exterior include a restyled front fascia, grille, headlamps and rear tailamps. Anti-lock brakes are now standard on all models. The four-cylinder models receive a new five-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission that was previously only available on the V6 models. All Camry sedans are available with either a 160-hp four-cylinder engine, or a 210-hp (225-hp on the SE) 24-valve V6. A VSC/Side Air bag Package containing a vehicle stability control system and side impact and side curtain airbags is available on all models except the STD.
