Overview
The 2005 Ford Expedition returns with a few changes from the previous model year. The expedition is available in four trim levels: XLS, XLT, Eddie Bauer, and the new top-of-the-line King Ranch. All models now come standard with the 5.4L Triton V8 engine. This engine has received a bump up in horsepower producing 300hp and 365 lbs./ft. of torque. Some of the updates to the exterior and interior include raised roof rails instead of a roof rack and redesigned instrument cluster display. A convenient feature on all models is the capability to fold the second and third row seats flat into the floor. A Safety and Security Package is available on all models except the XLS and includes a safety canopy and reverse sensing system.
