Overview
The 2005 GMC Yukon is available in three models: Base trimline in 2WD and 4WD, and the luxurious AWD Denali. The standard power plant is a 4.8L 285 horsepower V8, with an optional 5.3L 295 horsepower V8 available. The Denali features a pumped up 6.0L engine producing 320 hp. All engine options are coupled with an electronically controlled, four-speed automatic transmission. The Denali features upgrades such as adjustable power pedals, heated leather seats, and the OnStar Communications system. Optional features on the Base model Yukon include a rear entertainment system, power glass moonroof, and XM satellite radio. When equipped with the optional third-row seat, the Yukon can seat up to nine passengers.
