Overview

GMC's adaptable SUV enters 2005 with several changes. The Envoy XUV is available in 2WD or 4WD configurations, and in two trim levels, SLE and SLT. Unique features include a power sliding roof, a fold-down midgate with power glass, an all-weather cargo area, and a drop or swing-down tailgate. Revisions include re-engineered optional 290-hp 5.3L V8 engine, re-styled seating, new passenger sensing front air bags, and improvements to the Navigation radio system. Numerous option packages are now available as well, including the OnStar Plus Package and Luxury Package. Also new for this year is a stereo system with a CD player and MP3 capabilities. New exterior paint choices for 2005 include Steel Gray, Superior Blue, and Emerald Jewel.
