Overview
The 2005 Limited Excursion is available in 2WD and 4WD configurations. The 2WD model is available with the 5.4L V8 255-hp, 6.0L V8 turbo diesel producing 325-hp and 560 lbs-ft. of torque, or the 6.8L V10 310-hp engine. The 5.4L and 6.8L engines are paired to a four-speed automatic transmission while the 6.0L is paired to a five-speed automatic. The 4WD is only available with the 6.0L or the 6.8L engine. Redesigned exterior features for this year include jeweled headlamps, grille, and bumpers. Limited trim standard features include forged 16-inch aluminum wheels, body color cladding, wheel lip moldings, illuminated running boards, memory adjustable pedals, and leather trimmed seating.
