Overview
The Express Passenger Van returns for the 2005 model year with minimal changes. It is again available in five models: 1500, 1500 AWD, 2500, 3500, and 3500 extended van. The base 1500 Express Passenger Van is equipped with a Vortec V6 engine. The 1500 AWD features a 5.3L Vortec V8 producing 285 horsepower, while the 2500 and 3500 models are equipped with a 6.0L Vortec V8 boasting 300 horsepower. Alternative Fuel Conversion is available with the Vortec 6.0L V8 engine. This feature offers a fully converted, dedicated compressed natural gas (CNG) system or bi-fuel system using either CNG or gasoline. Optional equipment includes a Cold Climate Package, Convenience Package, Smoker's Package, and Trailering Equipment Group.
