Overview
Formerly only available in a four-door wagon version, the PT Cruiser now adds a two-door convertible bodystyle to its line-up. Four trim lines are offered: Base, Touring, Limited (wagon only), and GT. The new two-door models come equipped with several exclusive convertible top features, such as a six-point top attachment system, a floating high-strength steel roof bow, a three-layer cloth top, and the Smart glass system. Engine options include a 150-hp 2.4L gas engine, 180-hp 2.4L turbo gas engine, and a high out-put turbo engine producing 220 horsepower. The PT Cruiser can be equipped with either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. Options include traction control, performance brakes, and a few premium stereo choices.
