Overview
The 2005 Audi A8 is available in three models: Base (standard wheelbase), L (long wheelbase), and W12 L. Base and L models come standard with a 335 horsepower 4.2-liter V8 engine and a six-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission. The W12 features a 450-hp 12-cylinder engine. Other standard features include Quattro IV AWD system, Xenon headlamps, dual-zone climate control, vehicle navigation system, and rain-sensing windshield wipers. A Multi Media Interface provides control of onboard electronics with a turn and/or a push of the selector knob and control keys. Front massage and ventilation seats and an adaptive speed control system are also available. The adaptive speed control uses radar to maintain a pre-set distance between your vehicle and the vehicle in front of you.
