Overview
The CTS returns for 2005 featuring a base 2.8L engine matted to either an automatic or manual transmission. A 3.3L V6 engine, which is coupled with a six-speed manual transmission, is also available. The sport-version of this luxury sedan, The CTS-V, boasts a 5.7L V8 engine producing 400 horsepower and 395 ft-lbs of torque. New features for 2005 include the integrated roof-mounted OnStar and XM radio system. The new Wood Trim Package makes its debut on the CTS, adding a wood steering wheel and shifter, as well as burl interior trim. Additionally, three new exterior color choices are being offered for this year, Stealth Gray, Sand Storm, and Moonstone.
