Overview

For 2005, Nissan redesigns the Altima's interior, as well as adding an in-demand feature to the vehicles list of options. The mid-size sedans interior revisions include a new instrument panel, three-spoke steering wheel, and center console. Also, Nissan makes a DVD-based Navigation system available optionally. The Altima is again available in several trims, including 2.5 Base, 2.5 S, 3.5 SE and 3.5 SL. The optional 2.5 SL Package may be added to 2.5 S auto transmission models. This package features a Bose audio system, automatic climate control, the HomeLink system, heated leather seats, and chrome exterior trim. The 3.5 SE trim may be equipped with the optional Sport Package, which adds a rear spoiler and a power sliding glass sunroof.
