Overview
The Hyundai Tiburon returns this year with very few changes. The Base models are powered by a 2.0L 140-hp four-cylinder engine, while the GT V6 models utilizes a 2.7L 181-hp six-cylinder engine. Both models have a standard five-speed manual transmission or an optional four-speed Shiftronic manual shift automatic transmission. A six-speed manual transmission is an option on the GT V6. The GT V6 options include leather seats, anti-lock brakes and a power sunroof. Standard features on the GT V6 6-Speed includes a sport-tuned suspension and 17-inch alloy wheels. Late in the model year, the GT V6 Special Edition model was introduced, featuring a Kenwood CD/MP3 stereo, red brake calipers, a multi-gauge performance unit, and aluminum pedals.
