Overview
For 2004, Mazda introduces the all new Mazda3. Models include the Mazda3i sedan, Mazda3s sedan, and Mazda3s wagon. The Mazda3i features a 2.0L engine that produces 148 horsepower and is coupled with a five-speed manual transmission. The Mazda3s is equipped with a more powerful 2.3L engine producing 160 horsepower. A four-speed automatic transmission with sport mode is optional on all models. All models are available with the ABS and Air Bag Package featuring ABS brakes and side impact and head curtain air bags. For a sportier appearance, the Mazda3s wagon is equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, and side sill extensions. In addition, the interior of the Mazda3s features silver trim and an electroluminescent gauges.
