Overview
The Freestar Cargo Van is all-new for 2004. Ford has redesigned and built the Freestar cargo van to replace the aging Windstar cargo van. The Freestar cargo van is equipped with a new 3.9L V6 producing 193 hp and 240 lbs-ft of torque. Standard equipment includes air conditioning, dual front airbags, power windows, mirrors and door locks, a rear defroster, and an AM/FM stereo with a digital clock. In addition, the Freestar cargo van comes standard with power-assisted front and rear disc brakes, as well as an anti-lock braking system. An Active Safety Package I containing brake assist, traction control and Advance Trac stability control system can be added at an optional cost. The optional Van Value Group features privacy glass and cruise control.
