Overview
The Range Rover returns for 2004 basically unchanged from last year's redesigned model. Key features include an all independent suspension, a torque-sensing center differential, and four-wheel traction control. The Range Rover is powered by a BMW designed 4.4L V8, which produces 282 hp and 325 lbs.-ft. of torque. This engine is coupled to a five-speed automatic transmission with Command Shift, which allows for manual shifting. Standard equipment includes 19-inch alloy wheels, Park Distance Control, a six-disc CD changer, and all leather seats. For 2004, Land Rover will produce 300 Westminster Limited Edition Range Rovers, which will include interior trim upgrades, unique color options, and 20-inch alloy wheels.
